WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is an amazing gentle, yet extremely powerful, energetic healing
system and spiritual practice that can be easily learned by anyone and can be used in a broad range of ways. The Japanese word "Reiki" can be best understood as "spiritually guided life force energy".

Reiki offers a holistic method to support all levels of our being - body, mind, emotions, and spirit. It can be used hands-on on people and animals (and even plants and trees) and also sent via distance. Reiki energy enables one to access states of deep relaxation, clears energetic blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality, and increases one’s vibrational frequency. It has been effective in helping virtually every known condition and always creates a beneficial effect! One of the fundamental principles of Reiki is that it cannot harm.

Reiki easily integrates with other healing systems and spiritual practices, and is a great tool for everyone to have in their toolbelt, including healers, healthcare practitioners, teachers, people working with children, and parents. Reiki is, in fact, appropriate for ANYONE who would like to bring more love, nurturing, and healing into their lives!

The ability to access the Reiki energy is passed to the student from the teacher by way of energetic attunement. Through the attunement process, you will experience a deep connection to and activation of the Reiki energy and therefore a stronger connection with spirit and your divine, whole nature.

Reiki is typically taught in three levels. At the first level you are introduced to Reiki. You learn about the Reiki principles and practices and you learn to do hands-on healing with Reiki on yourself and others. At the second level, you go deeper with Reiki. You learn how to do distance healing with Reiki and learn the symbols and mantras that are part of Reiki. You learn how to use Reiki in many additional ways, such as space clearing and blessing land. At the third level (master/teacher) you go even deeper into Reiki energy. You are attuned to the master level and receive the master symbol and you are given instruction and guidance how to teach Reiki to others.

REIKI MASTER/TEACHER

KIM CHRISTENSEN

Kim Christensen is dedicated to the path of spirit and healing. Her practices over the last 14 years of her spiritual journey have focused on energy healing, shamanism, journey work, and meditation.

Kim was initiated as a traditional Reiki Master in 2002 and continues to deepen her connection to and understanding of this powerful, dynamic energy practice and path through both teaching and her healing practice. A clear channel for Reiki, Kim is delighted to share the profound gift of Reiki with all those she can.

Kim is also a sound healer, spiritual mentor and coach, as well as a teacher of Toltec and shamanic wisdom and a Sundoor-certified advanced firewalk instructor. Kim’s passion is to inspire others to realize the creative vision of their lives, discover their way to wholeness, and claim their joy-filled birthright.

REIKI Level I:
Heal & Nurture Your Self & Others

In this full-day workshop open to all, you will:

Receive instruction and attunement to traditional Reiki Level 1;
Experience a deep connection to and activation of the Reiki healing energy;
Learn specific ways to do self-healing and hands-on healing for others;
Learn the Reiki principles and other practices so that you can use Reiki to support all aspects of your life.

This class is appropriate for ANYONE who would like to bring more love, nurturing, and healing into their lives! Reiki easily integrates with other healing systems and practices, and is a great tool for everyone to have in their toolbelt! It is an incredible foundational system.

Reiki Level 2: Distance Healing and Working with Symbols

Reiki Level 2 further deepens your capacity for and alignment with the Reiki energy. In Reiki Level 2 you learn to refine your Reiki technique and to apply Reiki in specific ways. With the methods and tools provided in Reiki 2, healing is not limited by time and space!

In the class you will:

Receive two attunements to Reiki Level 2;
Learn the three traditional Usui Reiki symbols and mantras and how these can enhance and expand the way you use Reiki;
Learn several ways to do distance healing and prayer work with Reiki energy (with people and places);
Learn a number of new applications and techniques for working with Reiki including protection, space clearing, manifestation work, and food blessing;
Receive guidance around ethics and learn intuitive techniques for getting "permission" for distance healing work;
Bring more precision to your Reiki healing work and more!

In addition, there will also be time for questions and practice. It is a full day!
